This series is dedicated to all the women in The Community. Dawn Athena was the original inspration for this series. For each of the renderings, I focused on your spirit and on the stills I had taken from video as each "painting" was individually created. Except for the photos of Dawn and HR, all of these were taken in GG Park @ Spiral Muse. The next step was to integrate your photo with the graphic and I tried to tweak the photo into the context of the graphic. I learned a lot about my art and myself in this process and I can't thank each of you enough.

At Burning Man, I hand dipped (marbelized) each frame picking colors that would highlight (contrast or contradict) your i mages and they were on display for the entire week at G Spot, within our camp. I received much support for this series, and I couldn't have accomplished this without you. The night The Man burned, each piece of art, in their frames with the glass removed (except for Dawn's whose glass was part of the art), was lovingly and emotionally thrown into the fire. Now, they rest in universality, having been shared and the circle is complete - from creation to dust.

Each of you will receive one original hand dipped framed reproduction on high quality paper or silk approx 8 x 10. I am not yet certain of which printing process to use. Copies will be available only to this Community, for friends and relatives at reasonable prices. With your permission, I would like to show this series in the Spring at my first art show! Date/Time/Place TBA by January 1 2003.
