The class will be having it 35th reunion during the weekend of August 4-6, 2000 on Long Island. The co-chairs of the reunion are Susan Krueger (tel: 516-364-2436) and John Haug (tel: 561-329-1603), and we believe that this will be the largest reunion the class has ever had.

The reunion will be held at the Metropolitian in Glen Cove at 7 pm on August 5, 2000. In addition, there will be an informal social at Coco's Resturant in Huntington at 5:00 pm on Friday, August 4th and a brunch at Susan Krueger's home in Syosset on Sunday, August 6th, beginning at 10:30 am. The cost of the reunion is $140.00 per person.

The address for Coco's is 117 New York Avenue, Huntington and the telephone number is (631)271-5700. Coco's has a buffet for which there is no charge. The only expense will be for drinks. The dress for Coco's is casual.

We have not specified a specific type of dress for the Metrolopitan. However, most men have indicated that they will be wearing jackets and ties, while the women have stated that they will be wearing cocktail dresses.

The dress for the brunch is casual and feel free to bring your bathing suits (and use Susan's pool). The time and directions for this affair will be provided at the reunion. The brunch is included in the $140 ticket price.

Directions for all events will be sent to you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Susan Krueger, John Haug or me.

Please send your acceptance to our classmate, Mike Trop, an attorney in Florida His address is:

Mike Trop
130 Nighthawk Avenue
Planation, Florida 33324

Please make your check payable to the Atlas Pearlman Trust Account (Mike's law firm). If you need to speak to Mike, the telephone number at his law firm is: (954) 766-7802. Additionally, the projected attendance for the the reunion has increased significantly, and Susan and John may have to get a larger room. Therefore, it is very important to let them know---as soon as possible---whether you plan to attend the event, regardless of whether you have sent your money to Mike.

There are several local hotels: Best Western/Woodbury (516) 921-6900; the Fairfield Inn (516) 921-1111; and the Huntington Hilton (631) 845-1000. The Hilton is offering a reduced rate of $129 per night and many classmates have made reservations there.

We have established an electronic e-mail tree in order to: 1) find every member of the class; and 2) enable members of the class to communicate with "lost friends." Fortunately, we are having a lot of success with both of these goals. Nevertheless, we would appreciate it if you forward us any e-mail address that you might have for a member of the class. Volunteers to help are encouraged and welcomed. Additionally, the policy for volunteers is simple: we merely ask for "a little help" so that that no person becomes "over-burdened" with work.

FINALLY, PLEASE LET JOHN OR SUSAN KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WHETHER YOU WILL ATTEND THE REUNION.
